With a number of nice results at CSI** Genk, Julie-Pascale could leave for CSI*Luik with a good deal of confidence. Since 1998 this familiar jumping competition has been known as a fixed 3 day event for Guillaume & Julie-Pascale and their horses. This year their success has been greater than ever before. Three years running now, Picobello Copy won the opening round, twice ridden by Guillaume and this year ridden by Julie-Pascale. The grand prix has also been won by Guillaume for the last 2 consecutive years. Last year, with his consistently fine jumping Dundee, this year with the 7 year old interim horse (Argentinus). Via friends Guillaume had a horse to use for 3 days of competition. He achieved fantastic results. On the first day, he secured 7th place in the Small Tour, on the second day he won the Grand Tour and on the third day he won the Small Grand Prix.
This year Julie-Pascale and her brother have been well matched on results. On the first day of the opening round she secured a place of honour with Picobello Copy. On the second day she finished on a worthy third place with Copy. In the small Grand prix Copy showed her speed and talent, she finished with the fastest time but unfortunately made one fault. Picobello Wiona who has been in top condition during the last 3 months has shown what she has to offer. For the Grand Prix, Luc Musette built a challenging 1.40m track. Wiona did not have any problems at all and secured a worthy 9th place. Both CSI* Luik and CSI** Genk were rounded off with a lot of fun. Here's to the next jumping competition...
